Coventry University, England recently held a three-day enlightenment programme in Nigeria, which aimed at providing insight into the benefits of having a UK education. As part of CityMarketing’s efforts to scale up Coventry’s new entrees the school’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor for international Development, Dr. David Pilsbury harps on the value a UK university education provides as well as the opportunities available particularly for Nigerian students wanting to pursue a career in the agribusiness and energy sectors, especially as Nigeria is currently moving away from oil as its major source of revenue due to the low price of oil in the international market.
